Development of sustainable techniques for weed management and phytosanitary defense in fruit growing

To concretely contribute to achieve the objective of the Farm to Fork (F2F) strategy in the regional fruit crop sector, through the identification of new pathways and strategies that allow to reach a 50% reduction in the use of pesticides.
All the actions outlined in the project are aimed and preparatory to achieve this goal: broaden the knowledge on the biology and ethology of some pests according to their adaptation to climate change, validate new monitoring tools, evaluate the efficacy of natural active substances and agronomic techniques alternative to chemical pesticides and finally to analyse the economic sustainability of the proposed alternatives.
