Development of strategies for the use of rhizospheric microorganisms to reduce the supply of fertilizers and control biotic and abiotic adversities

Obiettivi
Objectives

The general objective of the project is to develop a model of 'best practices' with low environmental impact easily applicable at farm level, which includes the use and enhancement of microorganisms of the rhizosphere, in order to consistently reduce the use of fertilizers and pesticides, with consequent reduction of the release of pollutants, improvement of water and soil quality, and adaptation of crop systems to the impact of climate change by improving the resilience of crops in relation to water /saline and thermal stress, safeguarding yields, quality and profitability.
