The project proposal of the Operating Group intends to promote and enhance the black truffle of Calabria through an intersectoral approach to examine, from different points of view, the dynamics of technical-economic innovation, those of processing and transformation of the product, those of the market and that affect on the territory. The goal requires different implementation plans: first of all we intend to determine the essential elements for the production of the Black Truffle of Calabria in truffle fields of artificial origin, in controlled truffle grounds and in natural truffle grounds. Secondly, the aim is to highlight the potential for the establishment of a Calabrian black truffle supply chain.
