Pratice abstract
Description

"Develop innovations, techniques, studying new operating models and restructuring operations in the forest, wood cutting, assortment and processing in square.
It is necessary to change the current operation (unsuitable non-economic for industrial wood chips) to produce wood chips in a rational way using otherewise labor force and means, to reduce costs, operations, time for unit of product, while maintaining (percentuage to be verified) possibility to make selections of products other than wood chips.Such innovations would allow differentiation and rationalisation of the companies vertically (in the supply chain) and horizzontally (on the individual yard)                    Waste of machinery and labour must be reduced (example: not cutting into pieces but treating whole plants) adapting the operational phases. For the same area would be more material (branches and tops) with less costs and working time. Thus evaluating assortments and processes directly in the square.
Companies would enter a market whit lower prices for unit of product but with certain and rapid times with a market open all year round . Would expand the yards in the time unit working all year round (which is now difficult) with an additional market.
Action could be taken on large areas of woodland now abandoned (no interesting assortments on the tyrrhenian side) with considerable potential for enterprises, also these areas need forestry, fire prevention and hydrogeological disruption"
