VBAC PGI supply chain Innovation Logistics and Organization
The innovative plan has the general objective of improving the competitiveness of the beef production chain of the Central Beef White IGP (IGP VBAC) through the definition of a new logistical organization model, within the leader that is the Cooperative Bovinitaly, able to integrate the entire supply chain from breeding to the distribution point and to govern every management, logistical and commercial process.
1. EXERCISE OF COOPERATION: organized form of cooperation to design, develop and implement innovations.
2. STUDIES: Organizational analysis of the companies belonging to the beef sector.
3. Improvement of the management of rest stops in agricultural enterprises in mountain areas and in other hilly areas
4. 3.2 Planning of an informative-organizational management model of the supply chain of the White Calf of the Central Apennines PGI
5. 3.3 Development and testing of IT communication protocols for supply chain logistics management
6. ACTION DISSEMINATION: workshops, a press conference, creation of a dedicated web page and results reports
Improvement of the store cattle management in agricultural enterprises in mountain areas and in other hilly areas.
This activity foresees the development of a management protocol for the standstill phase of the farms located in the white calf IGP areas.
Design of an innovative informative-organizational management model of the supply chain of the White Calf of the Central Apennines.
This activity aims at designing a single logistical-operational management model for all the links in the supply chain, from animal slaughter to the distribution in the final sales point (horeca, butcher shop or GDO).
Development and testing of IT communication protocols for the supply chain logistical management.
If in the previous phase we will work for the realization of Bovinitaly's internal computer system capable of managing all the phases of the supply chain.
